At the moment: Chief Communication Officer / Corporate Relations Officer for a mining company.

In my role as a Corporate Relations Officer, I manage strategic communication and stakeholder engagement. The company is very European: headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden but the CEO is Spanish and lives in Germany. Our main project is located in eastern Finland and I work from Spain (where we also have a project). This is an example of the multicultural environments that I like and where I feel completely at ease!

Internal communication and strategic vision

My role also includes communicating with all the different people inside the company, to bridge the gaps between the different departments and make sure we don’t work in silos.

I drive communication initiatives that enhance corporate visibility, ensure alignment with business objectives, and foster strong relationships inside and outside the company.

Main responsibilities

The major components of my current role:

a) Support CEO activities
b) Corporate Social Media activities
c) Newsletters: monthly newsletters; for PRs & reports
d) Financial report elaboration
e) Press Release elaboration
f) Preparing Corporate presentations and Communication activities
g) Translation and managing translation of texts (English, Swedish, Spanish, German)
h) Monitoring of future events related to the sector plus news and mentions in media
i) Participation in projects with partners
j) Photography of stock images to be used in corporate communication
k) Graphic design and for social media and presentations
l) Event organization
